Saturday, July 12, 2008 Motorcycle Accident  Members of A shift responded to the intersection of Bullittsville and Petersburg roads for a reported motorcycle accident.  Upon arrival units found a motorcycle that had hit a guardrail with the rider in a field.  The rider was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, E-352 and S-364 all responded to this incident.


Friday, July 11, 2008 Fall   Members of C shift responded to Cougar Path at the Boone County Vocational School for a person that fell off of a roof.  Upon arrival units found a roofing worker had fallen about 30' off of a roof onto the concrete below.  The worker was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by ambulance.  S-364, E-351 and C-377 all responded to this incident.


Monday, June 16, 2008 Near Drowning   Members of B shift responded to Jonathan Drive for a reported near drowning.  Upon arrival units found a two year old that had fallen into a pool.  The child was out of the pool and breathing when units arrived.  The parents of the child performed CPR before our arrival and the child is now doing fine.  E-351, S-364, and C-377 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, June 3. 2008 Stove Fire   Members of A shift responded to Downey Drive for a reported stove fire.  Upon arrival units found heavy smoke throughout the apartment.  The fire was found to have been extinguished by the residential sprinkler system.  Crews overhauled and ventilated the apartment.  E-352, E-351, L-360, S-364, C-377 and Point Pleasant L-1360 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, June 3. 2008 Lightning Strike   Members of A shift responded to Britt Drive for a reported house struck by lightning.  Upon arrival units found a house with some minor burn marks, signifying a lightning strike but no fire.  Units checked the entire house with nothing further found.  E-352, S-364, L-360, E-351, C-375 and Point Pleasant L-1360 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, June 3. 2008 Auto Accident   Members of A shift responded to Youell Road for a reported tractor trailer overturned.  Upon arrival units found a dump truck that had overturned with the driver still trapped inside the cab.  The driver was quickly extricated and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  S-364 and R-374 both responded to this incident.


Thursday, May 22, 2008 Auto Accident   Members of C shift responded to WB I-275 near the 5 mile marker for a reported accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a semi about 30 feet off of the roadway and leaking diesel fuel.  The driver of the truck was not injured.  The fuel leak was contained.  E-352, R-374, S-365, C-376 and U-367 all responded to this incident.


Wednesday, May 14, 2008 Person Struck   Members of A shift responded to Litton Lane for a reported person hit by a car.  Upon arrival units found a person laying on the side of the road, unconscious and not breathing.  The victim was transported to the hospital.  E-351 and S-364 both responded on this incident.

 


Sunday, May 4, 2008 Motorcycle Accident   Members of A shift responded to the intersection of Northbend and River Road for a reported motorcycle accident.  Upon arrival units found a motorcycle that had hit a car head-on.  The motorcycle rider was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-351 and S-364 both responded to this incident.


Thursday, April 24, 2008 Auto Accident w/ Extrication  Members of C shift responded to the 3mm on Westbound I-275 for a reported accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a car that had rolled over several times.  The victim was quickly extricated and transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-352, R-374, S-365, C-375 and Point Pleasant 1360 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, April 22, 2008 ATV Accident   Members of A shift responded to the 3000 block of Petersburg Road for a reported ATV accident.  Upon arrival units found an ATV that had rolled onto the victim in a field.  The victim was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, E-352 and S-364 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, April 22, 2008 Confined Space Incident  Members of A shift responded with the NKY Technical Rescue Team to assist Southern Campbell Fire Department with a confined space rescue.  A worker had fallen about 30' inside of a water tower and was injured.  The worker was lowered to the bottom of the tower with ropes and transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  C-375 responded with two personnel to this incident.


Friday, March 21, 2008 Auto Accident W/ Injuries  Members of B shift responded to WB I-275 at the 8 mm for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a vehicle with heavy damage.  The driver only had minor injuries.  E-352 and S-364 both responded to this incident.

 


Thursday, March 20, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of A shift responded to McDonalds on Petersburg Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found light smoke in the building.  The fire was in an appliance in the kitchen and was extinguished prior to our arrival.  Units ventilated the building and checked for extension.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Wednesday, March 19, 2008 Industrial Accident  Members of C shift responded to Worldwide Blvd. for a reported industrial accident.  Upon arrival units found a 30' tall rack storage unit that had fallen over with somebody on it.  One person was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital.  E-352, E-351 and S-364 all responded to this incident.

 

Friday, March 14, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of A shift responded to Whitney Lane for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke coming from the house.  The fire was found to be in the dryer and was quickly extinguished and the house ventilated.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-377 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Friday, March 14, 2008 Rescue  Members of A shift responded to Kilgore Drive for a report of a person that had fallen in a hole.  Upon arrival units found that a utility worker  had fallen off of a ladder about 16' into an underground vault.  The patient was injured and extricated using the stokes basket and Ladder 360.  S-364, E-352, L-360, C-377, C-391 and C-375 all responded to this incident.


Monday, March 10, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of C shift responded to Russell Drive for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke showing from the front of the house.  The fire was found to be in laundry room and was quickly extinguished with minimal damage to the rest of the house.  E-351, E-352, R-374, S-364, C-375 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Sunday, March 9, 2008 Auto Accident W/ Injuries  Members of B shift responded to I-275 WB at the 10.9 mm for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a semi on its side leaking diesel fuel.  The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital and the diesel spill was controlled.  E-351, E-352, S-364 and Hazmat 373 all responded to this incident.


Saturday, March 8, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of A shift responded to Tulip Tree Drive to assist Point Pleasant Fire Department with a structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a house about 30% involved in fire.  The fire was quickly controlled and took about an hour to fully extinguish.  Hebron E-351 and Erlanger Fire assisted Point Pleasant with this call.


Monday, February 25, 2008 Barn Fire  Members of A shift responded to Idlewild Road in Burlington to assist Burlington Fire Protection District for a reported barn fire.  Upon arrival Burlington units found a barn fully involved about 50' away from a house.  The fire was quickly controlled and took several hours to fully extinguish.  The fire did not spread to the house.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to assist Burlington with this fire.


Monday, February 18, 2008 Auto Accident W/ Extrication  Members of C shift responded to the 10.9 mm on WB I-275 for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a car that had rolled and one person still trapped inside.  The subject was extricated and transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by Aircare.  E-352, R-374, S-364, C-377, and Petersburg S-1214 all responded to this incident.


Thursday, February 14, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of A shift responded to the 1900 block of Elijah Creek Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a vacant house about 75% involved in fire.  The fire was extinguished and overhauled.  The house did sustain heavy damage.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-377 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.  Thanks to a neighbor for taking some of these pictures.


Wednesday, February 13, 2008 Auto Accident W/ Injuries  Members of A shift responded to the 6.5 mm on EB I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a car underneath a semi trailer.  The driver was out of the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.  E-351, E-352, S-364 and C-377 all responded to this incident.


Monday, February 11, 2008 Fire  Members of B shift responded to the 1600 block of Elijah Creek Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke coming from the house.  Upon investigation, units found a wood burning stove being used in the basement with no chimney.  The house was vacant at the time.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364 and C-377 all responded to this incident.


Saturday, February 9, 2008 Auto Accident W/ Injuries  Members of C shift responded to EB 1-275 at the 8.4 mm for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a car on its top in the median.  The driver was out of the vehicle and was taken to the hospital.  E-352 and S-364 both responded to this incident.


Saturday, February 9, 2008 Structure Fire      Members of C shift responded to the 1800 block of Pioneer Blvd. for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found the garage to be heavily involved in fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished and overhauled.  The fire was confined to the garage and there was minimal smoke damage to the rest of the house.  E-351, E-352, R-374, S-364, S-365, C-375, C-376, C-377 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Friday, February 8, 2008 Auto Accident W/ Injuries  Members of A shift responded to the intersection of Limaburg and Conner roads for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a vehicle that hit a power pole with lines down.  The driver was out of the vehicle and not injured.  R-374 and S-364 both responded to this incident.


Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of B shift responded to the 2900 block of Limaburg Road for a reported attic fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke coming from the eaves and around the chimney.  The fire was between the bricks and the flue for the chimney.  The fire was extinguished.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375, C-376, and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Sunday, January 20, 2008 Structure Fire  Members of A shift responded to Ridgefield Drive for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units could see fire through a window in the basement of the house.  The crew of E-351 forced entry into the house and found a small fire from a candle and some surroundings in the basement.  The fire was quickly extinguished and minimal damage was caused to the house.  The residents of the house were not home at the time of the fire.  E-351, E-352, S-364, L-360, and Burlington Engine 701 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, January 15, 2008 Fall  Members of B shift responded to Langley Drive for a subject who fell off of the roof of a warehouse under construction.  Upon arrival units found that the patient had fallen about 35' onto concrete.  The patient was taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  S-364, E-351, C-375 and C-391 all responded to this incident.


Monday, January 14, 2008 Vehicle Fire  Members of A shift responded to UDF on Northbend Road for a reported delivery truck on fire near the fuel pumps and building.  Upon arrival units found the truck to have a well involved engine compartment fire with no exposures.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  Engine 351 and Engine 352 both responded to this incident.
