On Februar 12th, crews were dispatched to Hart Drive for a report of a furnace explosion with smoke filling the house. On scene, Car 375 established command and performed a 360 degree walk around of the single story ranch home. Everyone was reported out of the home and 1 3/4 hose was deployed to the basement door. Ladder 360 personnel forced entry into the door and along with Engine 351, located the fire in the laundry room of the basement. The fire was quickly extinguished and Engine 701 from Burlington and Hebron 352 assisted with ventilation and overhaul in the residence.
