Hebron, Ky – Today we congratulate Assistant Chief William Fletcher on his retirement after nearly 20 years of service at Hebron Fire Protection District. Prior to serving at Hebron, Chief Fletcher was a firefighter for Dry Ridge Fire Department in Grant County and for many years he served Boone County Emergency Management as a Deputy Director.
We not only celebrate a well-deserved retirement, but the contributions Chief Fletcher has made to our department, county and region. He has truly become a master of his craft, providing thoughtful leadership and expertise on topics such as hazardous materials, emergency management, and incident command. Although we may no longer see Chief Fletcher around the station, his mentorship, instruction and service-minded leadership will continue to benefit our constituents through the many individuals who learned from him. Please join us in thanking and congratulating Chief Fletcher.
